The Central Bank of Cyprus announces the issue of a set of the Cyprus euro coins
in brilliant uncirculated condition and issue year 2009. The set is complemented by a €2
commemorative coin, issued in 2009 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the
European Economic and Monetary Union (EMU).
The coins are set in a three - ply brochure placed in a case. The brochure and case
present ancient mosaics from the House of Dionysos in Paphos. The mosaics have been
included in Unesco’s World Heritage List.
The total issue of the set is 15.000, to be sold within Cyprus and abroad.
Sales will start on 12 October 2009 and will continue while stocks last.

The over the counter price has been set at €25 including VAT. Sales will be
effected over the counter by the Central Bank
